As 2019 opens, the business community faces many challenges that either directly or indirectly impact your ability to remain competitive in the marketplace. The US economy is built upon the foundation of small, community based businesses and we are concerned about federal and state policies and laws that either support or limit business growth. As a business owner, your membership in the Spring-Ford Chamber helps to promote pro-business advocacy at the state and federal level. In addition, your membership supports the Chamber’s effort to create a greater sense of pride in our community as well as providing opportunities to meet other like-minded business owners in the area.
The mission of the Spring-Ford Chamber is to support and serve our members by providing opportunities to build personal and professional networks, as well as meaningful professional development opportunities. One question that is always on the minds of those who serve on the Chamber Board is, “How can we better serve our members?” Social events, volunteer opportunities, networking opportunities and community programs all serve to promote a healthy pro-business environment. So the question is: how can we better serve you? The goal of the Spring-Ford Chamber of Commerce is to serve and be a resource to our members. So please help us to help you by your continued membership and involvement in your local business support organization. Working together we can continue to grow and prosper by enhancing the lives of those we serve.
Looking forward to a great year in 2019.
Dr. David R. Goodin, President of the Spring-Ford Chamber of Commerce and Superintendent of the Spring Ford Area School District
